Party in peace and seclusion

Down a quiet lane, amongst orchards and apple barns, in an altogether different era, Wye Valley House is perfect for partying in peace and seclusion. The day after, clear your head in the hills, take a walk to the river or potter off to pubs and shops

Enjoy good times among the orchards

At the end of a peaceful and secluded lane, before the yawning beauty of rural Herefordshire, in an era seemingly far removed from the present, sits Wye Valley House.

Party in cavernous reception and dining rooms, relax in sheep-bleating seclusion, sleep deeply in Egyptian cotton. Help yourself to herbs from the garden. Browse a good book by the woodburner. The kitchen is big, the gardens bigger, and the River Wye is a stroll away.

Luxury and elegance abound. French windows lead directly onto the garden, the Aga kitchen comes with American fridge-freezer, when dining the heating’s beneath your feet and the delightful terrace faces the sun.

This is party heaven for a dozen friends or family. Need more space? The adjoining cottage sleeps six more. Clear the head with brisk walks through ancient fields. Shuffle around the antique shops. Enjoy literary overload at Hay-on-Wye. Plunder the local produce. Drink in the views from your bedroom window.

Living Spaces

With three log burners and countless comfy sofas you will be hard pressed to pick your favourite room to be with your loved ones at Wye Valley House.

For family movie nights there’s the TV room, a spacious and warm room with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy each others company. There are two large sofas surrounding the log burner and a large flat screen TV with DVD player.

The Drawing room is an elegant room at the end of the house. It is perfect for relaxing, reading by the log fire or playing a game of cards or two.

Underfloor heating runs through the downstairs of the property, so warm your toes and cuddle up with a good book from the extensive collection in the snug. The log burner and large TV make this the perfect room for those cold snowy evenings in with your nearest and dearest.
